here are some of the questions (and obviously their answers) to some of the questions i saw asked most often during the beta.

when do the animals visiting change?

the animals will rotate once every three hours. you can see when they are next moving by looking at the “moving in” timer on the map. if you gain a new contact, that contact will always turn up in the next rotation.

when do the shops change?

the shops change every TWO animal rotations, or in other words, every six hours.

what should i spend leaf tickets on?

your highest priority is unlocking the two crafting slots so you can craft three items at once. do NOT spend money expanding inventory space, as it expands automatically as you level up towards level 30 at a steady rate.
you can also buy the limited promotional items for tom nook and kk slider. during the beta i played semi-casually and had enough leaf tickets to buy both items and all crafting spots, with some left over.

who is leaf???? wtf????

leaf is the result of some people’s accounts glitching out. to all other players they will appear as a default avatar named leaf, but their save data will be intact on their own device. im not sure how you can fix it yet.
